About Me

I was born on August 18, 1982 in the town of Dimitrov, Donetsk Region, Ukraine. My father is a mining engineer and my mother is a teacher of English.

In 1997 I entered the Pedagogical College in Krasnoarmeisk.

After finishing it in 2001 I became a student of the philological faculty of the State Pedagogical University in Slavyansk. When I was in my first year at the University, I was a member of the circle named “The foundations of journalism” and wrote articles to “the Donetchina” in which my friends and I depicted the events of our students’ life. When being a sophomore, I was rewarded with a dollar scholarship for my excellent studies by “Union of the Orthodox Sisters”, a charitable organization in the USA. In 2006 I graduated from the university with honours. My speciality is a teacher of Ukrainian and English.

I began my teaching career as a teacher of English at school # 5 in Krasnoarmeisk in 2006. I take an article part in the social life of my school. To begin with, I am a member of the school ensemble called “Bewichingd Reed-pipes” and we took part in many town concerts.

Besides, I am the leader of the school methodical union of the English teachers. In 2007-2008 school year our methodical union took part in “The best methodical union of the school” competition and we took the second place. In 2008-2009 school year I took part in “The best Young Teacher” school competition.
